As I am approaching this project from the geographical side, I was hoping that someone here had already used GIS with genealogical data. Without getting too ambitious, for now I would like to do something similar to the Surname profiler you mentioned. So someone could log on to the website, and would be presented with a dynamic map of my region showing the surnames, zooming in would provide more attribute detail, and they could add their info. | |
