Apr 21, 2015 at 12:45 | comment | added | user13357 | Hi all, thanks for the comments. I have revised the question. I wish I explain my self clear. I would love to know is there any other algorithms to detect two person relative relationship by given their genomic information.

Apr 20, 2015 at 10:17 | comment | added | PolyGeo♦ | As you can see we are having trouble understanding what you are asking with two main lines of thought emerging. Would you be able to edit your question to let us know, please? In the meantime I am going to place your question on hold but to get it re-opened you just need to make a clarifying edit to it.

I don't know what algorithms are available to consumers for comparing DNA data (e.g. from services that offer a chromosome browser) so I welcome an answer from someone who knows. Ancestry.com obviously has some behind-the-scenes number crunching going on to do their DNA circles and New Ancestor Discoveries, but those are proprietary. In any case, I'd like to clarify what is being asked.

Apr 17, 2015 at 15:42 | comment | added | Jan Murphy♦ | Welcome to G&FH.SE! Are you asking for a relationship calculator? If so, there are several other questions and answers about that already. genealogy.stackexchange.com/a/5294/1006 I agree with bgwiehle that if you search the site, you may find other answers that may help you.
