This tag is for transcription requests or general enquiries about the German handwriting style Kurrentschrift.

Kurrentschrift is a style of handwriting which dominated German records between the 16th and early 20th Century. It is often confused with Suetterlin, as the two share the same distinctive characters, but Suetterlin lacks the characteristic slant and was easier to write with a metal nib pen.
